Hola! I’m Lola. Greenwich is my home. I know where the light is softest, which corners stay quiet on busy weekends, and where little ones can run free. After 22 years behind the camera, I know that the best family photos don’t come from stiff poses. They come from a walk in the park, a game of chase, a big hug at the top of the hill.

Why Greenwich?

Everything for beautiful family photos, in one walk

Natural family photography in London by Lola García

Greenwich Park

The famous view over the river and the city, tree-lined avenues and a flower garden. Lots of space for kids to run, roll and play.

Relaxed couple portrait session in Old Royal Naval College

Old Royal Naval College

Elegant columns and grand courtyards for timeless, classic portraits — it feels like a European city, right here in London.

The river & Blackheath

Boats and open sky by the Cutty Sark, or the wide-open heath for kites and big hugs. And lovely cafés for a break.

"I almost cancelled out of nerves, and now I can't stop looking at the photos. Lola made me feel completely at ease — I've never liked pictures of myself this much."

Greenwich photo shoots: your questions

How much does a family photo shoot in Greenwich cost?

With me, family and couple sessions are £600 (Moments, 20 photos), £800 for every photo (Story), or £1,250 with a fine-art album (Legacy). Everything is included — no booking fee and no VAT.

Where do we meet?

Usually at the top of Greenwich Park, or by the Cutty Sark. After you book, I send you the exact meeting point, plus tips for parking, the DLR and the train.

What is the best time of day?

Morning, or the last hour before sunset. The light is soft, everyone looks their best, and the park is quieter.

What is the best season?

Every season is beautiful here: blossom in spring, long golden evenings in summer, gold and orange leaves in autumn, and crisp, quiet mornings in winter.

My kids never sit still. Is that a problem?

Not at all — I love it! The sessions are relaxed and led by the children. Often the photos parents love most are the messy, in-between moments.

What if the weather is bad?

Soft cloud gives beautiful light. If it really pours, we move to my studio or choose a new date — no stress.

Do you only photograph in Greenwich?

No. Moments covers London Zones 1–3, Story Zones 1–4, and Legacy all of London — a park near you or your home. Visiting from abroad? Have a look at my London vacation photo shoots. Hablo español.

Greenwich through the seasons

Spring — pink blossom along the avenues and colour in the flower garden.

Summer — long, golden evenings and picnics on the grass.

Autumn — my favourite. Gold and orange leaves, and soft, low sun.

Winter — cosy coats, frosty mornings and the park almost to yourselves.

Greenwich is where I live and where I feel at home. I came here from Málaga 18 years ago, and I still stop to look at the view from the hill. It would be a joy to show it to you — and to give you photos of your family that you’ll keep forever.
